silly me, i thought that by going to my first meeting of my course, i'd be starting. more than that, i thought i'd be learning. i looked for a few of my course books prior to the tour, which then made the library tour even worse because i had just visited those shelves. it was essentially the same tour we took as a part of the international student orientation debacle. wes had a tour yesterday which pointed out more specific things, so i had hope for mine. the person who was supposed to give the tour was not there, so it was the guy we had at orientation. he's nice and friendly and informed me that i should look into police auctions for a bike, but i didn't learn anything. i did meet another course mate though i suppose.
so now i'll just have to wait another 2 days until the next meeting...which is a party, so i have a feeling i'll still be waiting for my education to begin...

i am personally offended by this post. i mean, i could have told you that the librarians there suck since i found this out first hand when i was there in december. clearly you will have to rely on my fantabulous library skillz for the remainder of you time there.
