went to arts academy. even wore tights under my trousers as i had been so cold the days before.
doesnt seem like a normal wednesday without steel pans practice...
from arts academy i met brittany in hammersmith to go see wicked.
we got into central early so we went to go walk by the eye.
in search of the dali sculptures actually, but they were nowhere to be found.
did come across an arcade where i think we should go bowling and bumper cars at some point.
wicked was fantastic.
great show.
went to argos to purchase an airmattress.
that's a london experience.
you walk into a lobby with multiple argos catalogs. you find what you want, check to see if it's in stock by using the code on a little computer. purchase whatever it is you want and get a number. so then people stand around as though they have lottery tickets waiting for their number to be called to then collect your items at the right counter. an enjoyable time. sort of makes me want to buy something else just to go through the process again.
from there we travelled back to barnes. went and had a pint and some delicious bread at the red lion and then scooted right down the block to the cubs meeting.
played a fun game. again ben and i almost won. which is funny because some of the boys dont want to be playing standing next to the adults but yet we last longer in the game. but anyway.
