barcelona.

back to la rambla in search of goodies at the market and churros y chocolate.
mmm. i had a delicious pure raspberry juice drink at the market.
and we did find churros y chocolate (although over priced since on la rambla).
then searched (and eventually found) the obama restaurant/bar. which was decorated in african safari and a lifesize model of obama. hah. it was fun.

then we retrieved our bags from the hostel and made our way to journey on. i left steph and kendall on the metro underground to go to the plaza for the barcelona airport. they were off to the girona airport.

i was going to hang out in the plaza for awhile since i had so much time, but it was super hot and sunny so i decided to hang out at the airport. spent a lot of time there. until an hour before my flight was scheduled to leave and it was cancelled. more than that it just disappeared from the board. so that took a bit of navigating to sort out. stood in line with little information for a lloooong time. finally got rescheduled, but for monday, so that equated to 2 nights in randomtown spain put up in a hotel by easyjet by myself. the slovakian guy ahead of me in line advocated for taking a taxi after more waiting that wasn't getting us the bus to the hotel. eventually that's what we did at the recommendation of the easyjet employee who was not having a great night at work.
