kinder surprise

in kingston, i became familiar with wilkinson's.
a great store-maybe my new favorite for now- that i'd like to describe as a walgreens plus ace hardware with some added goodness.

i also was introduced to the kinder surprise. chocolate eggs with toys in them. these are fantastic. my surprise was great and so was stephanie's. to the point that i want to buy more to see if i can complete my toy set.

i also hurt my knee climbing on some art work. but the pictures are cool.

in wilkinson's, they had lots of fun things to buy. we did find craft paint, but only in red, yellow, and green. it was cheap but since we needed other colors we then also checked in the art supplies store. we got really excited to find large bottles of all the colors, but then found out the price. at 13 pounds a jar, there was no way we could afford that paint. in the end we got some small expensive tubes of orange and purple and blue so that we could go back to wilkinson's and get the cheap red, yellow, and green. in the end, we will be able to return the expensive orange and some of the red, yellow, and green which makes our awesome costumes even more awesomely cheaper.
wilkinson's also had a great craft aisle of fun crafts for not very many pounds. i got a little hand puppet kit which i have yet to put together, but am excited about.
two thumbs up to wilkinson's.

the art piece is a large sculpture using telephone booths which was outside of wilkinson's.

i was able to use the fun color against black and white function on my camera to attempt to only get the red of the photo booths, but the bricks on the ground threw that off a bit.
