concert numero dos.
fiona's son charles performed on monday to release his new single. his band, king charles (http://www.myspace.com/kingcharlesuk) was really good.
emily, kristen, and i traveled together to meet fiona. took three tubes up since we met kristen at putney bridge. went back home via 2 lines which was better.
it was fun to go with fiona. we met all four of her children and it's pretty awesome for her to be at the pub supporting her son and hanging out with her kids' friends (and us).
the first group playing was good. the second group was not. these 3 finnish girls kind of flailed about and hit things. and the one yelled/sang. not good. and their use of the cymbal sort of hurt my heart.
king charles, however, was excellent.

at one point i was concerned for fiona as he jumped from the dj booth back down to the stage. but very fun and very engaging.
