training session number 1

i went to the gym today for my first of 5 training sessions.
other than the guy missing at the time we were supposed to start, it went alright. he really only pointed out the different cardio machines. i'm guessing it's a way of stretching it out into 5 sessions to not touch the weights and resistance machines until session 2. that's okay though. i just hope that the weights part of the plan they create will be specific to me, because i didn't get that sense from today's session.

i did find out my weight in kilograms though. he asked me if he should record it in stones or kilograms. i have yet to actually determine what a stone is equivalency wise to something i know.

i also need to figure out what the distance pertains to on the machines. because while the machines are precor ones and exactly like the ones at home at the WAC, the level, speed, and distance features definitely have different outputs. and sadly, they don't have the tv screens attached (note to self to definitely bring the ipod).
