11dec: friday

today. yay.

had a little group meeting about our essays with brittany, emily, and kristen. this was a fantastic idea that brittany and i crafted on wednesday. we're doing the same or related questions so it was great to talk about what we're including in our essays. while they have a bit more done on the AMP one, my outline and found quotes matched up well with what they're planning on including.

and it was especially good to talk through the TP one as i had only recently crafted something in my mind and jotted ideas on paper. but from talking about it, i have a good graphic organizer as a result and at least a plan that i think makes sense and was verified by them. yay. i think that one might even be interesting from the perspective that i did teach music the last two years. so i have a plan of what to talk about first and what to relate into it. hopefully i'll be able to stick to that game plan.

so i feel better about covering the topics with what i was thinking would do so. it is all so broad and nebulous that it's hard to pinpoint what to include. now i'll just have to do a bit more research to back up all of the points i want to make. my desktop is covered with pdf articles to read, and hopefully they'll provide some needed evidence.

by having our little gathering, i feel like i've chipped a layer off to feeling better about how broad and huge these assignments are. now it's just translating all of my notes, outlines, quotes, and thoughts into something coherent on paper.

i've also accomplished doing some laundry. although i hope some of it drys a bit more within the hour so i can pack it without it being wet.
