we went into the city and to an exhibit at some EU place (and then hauled around pamphlets for alison's students).
then she went to meet with the librarian and i had a burrito.
then we met alex and hung out at a pub.
that was a good time.
lots of thoughts of things i haven't thought about in forever. it was great to see alex.
then, after our 2 drinks at the pub, alison and i took the bus to get over to the anish kapoor exhibit.
this was somewhat entertaining at the point when we got off the bus to go to the costa coffee in order to go to the bathroom.
then it was a trip through fortnum and mason department store.
from there, we went to stand in line for the exhibit. there was some concern that we may not get in.
however, then this woman offered me two tickets. so i totally scored free access to the exhibit, which was interesting.
fun times in the city.
