jason presented part of the composition he's writing in the afternoon. this piece is for a friend playing saxophone with a piano and percussionists accompaniment. this consequently meant that i got to play a toy whizzing gun and couch cushion as my percussion skills. it's an interesting piece; the history and framework behind it is fascinating.
the evening class was about culture. and had us in small groups discussing a rather obnoxious article. the article author wasn't expressing statements as so much as questions or possibilities. but still interesting within the frustration.
kristen's birthday (and carlos' birthday), which meant a group AMP trip out to a mexican place known as Crazy Homies.
Yes friends, that's the actual name of the place. I even took a picture of the menu cover.
goal achieved of finding mexican - more specifically, guacamole and tequila. although expensive. so we had some food and drinks. it was fun, but everyone seemed a bit tired.
